DUDE, WHERE’S MY TWIN?
Ashton Kutcher has finally come face-to-face with his longalleged doppelganger. The actor recently ran into none other than Rhode Island’s Jared Haibon, his supposed celebrity look-alike, while at a fundraiser in Los Angeles.
Haibon, a Providence native who can currently be seen on this season of “Bachelor in Paradise,” shared photographic evidence of his encounter with Kutcher during Clayton and Ellen Kershaw’s annual Ping Pong 4 Purpose charity event at Dodger Stadium on Sunday. The twins-in-looks-only posed for the selfie, which also included Haibon’s fiancee and fellow “Bachelor” alum, Ashley Iaconetti, as well as Kutcher’s wife, actress Mila Kunis.
“In 2015, Ashton Kutcher tweeted a side by side photo of our faces,” Haibon captioned the pic. “In 2017, he said he got into watching The Bachelor because a guy named Jared looked like him. In 2018, we met and bonded over marrying our best friends.”
Social media evidence backs up that sequence of events. In 2015, Kutcher in fact tweeted a photo of himself posing in front of a paused TV that showed the reality star’s face. The picture was taken the first time Haibon appeared on “Bachelor in Paradise,” during Season 2 of the spin-off.
“I’m trying to figure out why mila is making me take this picture,” Kutcher wrote alongside the pic at the time. “@ashleyiaco who are you? And who is this guy?”
Flash forward to the present, and the whole gang now has a good grasp on who’s who.
