Julian Soto and Takari Hobbs ran for touchdowns in the first half as Boston English/New Mission (3-0) defeated Burke, 24-6, in a Boston South showdown last night.

In other Boston South action, Jahwon Ryan scored three touchdowns while finishing with over 200 total yards as Charlestow­n (20) defeated South Boston, 24-19.

Ryan Nguyen amassed 200 total yards of offense and scored the game’s only two touchdowns as Latin Academy (2-1) defeated TechBoston, 12-0, in Boston North play.

In the Merrimack Valley Large, freshman quarterbac­k Victor Harrington completed 13-of-14 passes for 145 yards and two scores to lead Andover (1-1) past Lawrence, 38-14.

Vinny Holmes rushed for over 100 yards and scored two touchdowns for Mansfield (2-1) in a 24-6 victory over Hockomock KelleyRex rival Franklin.

Ali Lubwama connected with Evan Clarke late in the fourth quarter for the lone touchdown to lead Waltham (1-2) past Newton South in a Dual County League contest, 8-0 . . . . James Dillon scampered in twice as part of a first-quarter explosion as Lincoln-Sudbury (3-0) waltzed to a 50-7 victory over Cambridge.

Clayton McAlpine ran for 58 yards and a touchdown as Beverly (1-2) erupted for a 41-0 drubbing of Malden in the Northeaste­rn Conference’s Tier 1.

Sophomore Rayan Riazi tied the game with a 35yard field goal, then won the contest by booting a 30-yarder in overtime as Revere (1-2) stunned No.13 Lynn Classical, 19-16.

In Northeaste­rn Conference’s Tier 3, Dylan January burst for three rushing touchdowns while Graham Inzana tossed two scores as Swampscott (3-0) steamrolle­d to a 40-6 victory against Winthrop.

Payton Doyle completed 18-of-25 passing for 267 yards and four touchdowns, all going to Geoffrey Jamiel, as Dennis-Yarmouth (2-1) rolled to a 34-14 win over Nauset in the Atlantic Coast League.

Cole Finney (two catches, 90 yards) caught two touchdown passes to spark Hingham (2-0) to a 22-13 Patriot Keenan win over Whitman-Hanson. Hingham quarterbac­k Jack Johnson, who exited the game in the second half due to a broken collarbone, completed 7-of9 passes for 131 and two touchdowns . . . . Thomas Le rushed for over 100 yards and crossed the goal line twice for Quincy (1-2) in a 14-6 victory over Silver Lake.

Patrick Damon caught five passes for 74 yards and three touchdowns, while picking off a pass on defense, as Hanover (3-0) rolled to a 39-8 win over Pembroke in the Patriot Fisher.

Cole McIntyre threw a pair of touchdown passes to Tyler Noe and rushed for a third as Old Rochester (30) rolled to a 42-0 win over Greater New Bedford Voke in a South Coast Conference Large contest.

Cobi Desrosiers put the game out of reach with a 70-yard intercepti­on return as Apponequet (1-2) defeated Seekonk, 21-6, in a South Coast Conference crossover game . ... Chris Costa was a workhorse with 29 carries for 136 yards and a touchdown as Case (3-0) outmatched Bourne, 28-12.

Anthony Dzindolet ran for a pair of scores as Holliston (2-0) rolled to a 34-6 victory over Westwood in the Tri-Valley League Large . . . . Nathan Sickles corralled a pair of touchdown receptions from Jackson Hornung as Ashland (30) edged Medfield, 14-7.

Tailback Tylan Mendes controlled the pace of play with 122 yards on 12 carries to help Dover-Sherborn (21) knock off Norton in the Tri-Valley League Small, 9-7.

Matt Lund ran for two scores and tossed a touchdown pass for Cohasset (30) on the way to a 35-13 win over South Shore Tobin opponent Hull.

Kevin Opoku ran for 125 yards and two TDs on 15 carries, while James Coughlin added 77 yards and three scores on 12 carries as Southeaste­rn (2-1) rolled to a 40-7 win over Bristol-Plymouth in the Mayflower Large.

Sophomore John Smith racked up 320 all-purpose yards and three total touchdowns, carrying Pope John (3-0) to a 41-6 victory over Lowell Catholic in the Catholic Central Small.

Senior defensive ends Frank Irizarry and Troy Tamis combined for 14 tackles and four sacks as Shawsheen Tech (2-1) shut out Greater Lowell, 22-0, in a Commonweal­th Conference crossover game.

Jack Noonan passed for 99 yards and hit Junior Uga for two scores, while adding an 11-yard touchdown run to propel Weston (2-1) to a 32-0 nonleague win over Monument Mountain. . . . Michael Mikula tossed a touchdown pass and ran for another to lead North Reading (2-1) to a 23-18 victory over Bedford . . . . Daniel Marinaccio found paydirt twice on the night, helping Wakefield (1-2) get on the winning track with a 16-9 victory over Wilmington.

Nolan Houlihan broke the game open in the third quarter with a 3-yard TD run and Billerica (1-2) went on defeat Bishop Feehan, 22-7 . ... David Carrero finished his night with 11 carries for 121 yards and two touchdowns, as Haverhill (2-1) staved off a late comeback bid by Westford, 28-21.

Vinny Brazzo found the end zone twice on the ground, and threw a goahead touchdown pass to Ben Condon in the final frame, to lead Essex North Shore (1-2) to a 27-20 comeback win over Manchester Essex . . . . Ian Coffey carried the ball eight times for 150 yards and three touchdowns as Hamilton-Wenham (2-1) handled Greater Lawrence, 26-16 . . . . Running back David Cifuentes finished with 187 yards and three touchdowns on 10 carries as Bishop Fenwick (1-2) rolled past Pentucket, 33-7.

Jovan Marrero ran for 185 yards and three TDs on 26 carries to lead Cardinal Spellman (1-2) to a 20-7 victory over Middleboro . .. . Tim Layden completed 17of-21 passes for 181 yards, while rushing for 60 yards and two scores as North Quincy (3-0) cruised to a 27-7 win over Archbishop Williams . . . . Christian Keeling had three touchdowns, including the game-winner with 1:43 to play, as West Bridgewate­r (3-0) overcame a 12-point deficit to top Martha’s Vineyard in a 34-26 shootout.
