Christine Curhan-Pina, 63, radiology coordinato­r

Christine G. Curhan-Pina of New Bedford died Tuesday at St. Luke’s Hospital. She was 63.

She was born in New Bedford where she lived most of her life.

She was employed as a radiology systems coordinato­r at St. Luke’s Hospital for 46 years.

She took great pride in her family and was totally devoted to them.

Mrs. Curhan-Pina enjoyed hosting holiday parties and entertaini­ng her family with her storytelli­ng abilities.

She was the rock of her family and was like a second mother to many.

Mrs. Curhan-Pina is survived by her husband, Frank; a son, Aris Jason of Queens, N.Y.; three stepsons, Frank Jr. of Jay, N.Y., Jan Frederick Leitao-Pina of Worcester and Wesley Pina of Westport; a stepdaught­er, Gailyn Marie Pina-Gomes; six brothers, Michael Pires of Somerset, Glen Curhan and Harry Curhan of New Bedford, Richard Curhan and Michael Cohen of New York and Murray Curhan of Mattapoise­tt; two sisters, Sandra Neves and Marie Maciel of New Bedford; four grandchild­ren; four greatgrand­children; a godson and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. tomorrow at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, New Bedford.

Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, New Bedford.
