Packers receiving corps hurting

The Green Bay Packers will be without at least one of their starting receivers tomorrow at Detroit as Randall Cobb has been ruled out, a hamstring injury sidelining him for the second consecutiv­e week.

Davante Adams, who injured a calf at Wednesday’s practice, will practice today, coach Mike McCarthy said, and is listed as questionab­le. Also questionab­le is Geronimo Allison, who suffered a concussion last week and has not practiced this week.

Behind those three receivers, the Packers have three rookies — Marquez Valdes-Scantling, J’Mon Moore and Equanimeou­s St. Brown. ValdesScan­tling has the only two catches from that group . . . .

Miami Dolphins defensive end Cameron Wake is doubtful for the game at Cincinnati with a knee injury. Wake has been nursing the injury for a couple of weeks but hasn’t missed a game since 2016 . . . .

New York Jets cornerback Trumaine Johnson is out against Denver because of a quadriceps injury . . . .

Linebacker Vontaze Burfict is back on Cincinnati’s active roster after serving a four-game suspension for violating the NFL’s performanc­e-enhancer policy.

Misc.: Seau family settles

The family of the late NFL star Junior Seau settled its wrongful death lawsuit against the NFL over the former Patriots linebacker’s 2012 suicide. The confidenti­al settlement comes after the family opted out of the NFL concussion settlement covering more than 20,000 retired players, who developed chronic traumatic encephalop­athy or CTE . . . .

Oklahoma City Thunder guard Andre Roberson will miss at least two months after a setback in his recovery from left knee surgery . . . .

Brandt Snedeker birdied the final two holes for a 7-under 65 and a 3-stroke lead over Phil Mickelson in the PGA Tour’s season-opening Safeway Open in Napa, Calif . . . .

NASCAR: Busch, Harvick 1-2

Kyle Busch and Kevin Harvick, who each have seven wins, will start 1-2 at Dover (Del.) Internatio­nal Speedway to kick off the round-of-12 playoff race on the mile concrete track.

Rain washed out NASCAR Cup qualifying, setting the lineup on points and giving the top dozen spots to the 12 playoff drivers.

Martin Truex Jr., Brad Keselowski and Clint Bowyer round out the top five. Joey Logano, Kurt Busch, Ryan Blaney, Chase Elliott, Kyle Larson, Aric Almirola and Alex Bowman start sixth to 12th.
