L.A. Dodgers:

National League Champion

-

WARREN BEATTY

- For those not familiar, Beatty, now 81, an accomplished actor, director and producer, was once the unchallenged sex symbol of the world. The card-carrying Democrat was also a close friend of the late Robert F. Kennedy. He’s not had a Hollywood hit since the 1990s, but that’s more success than the Dodgers have enjoyed.

ASHTON KUTCHER AND MILA KUNIS

Having the cutest couple in their corner won’t put runs on the board for the Dodgers. Kutcher, 40, hasn’t had much of an acting career since “Two and Half Men” tanked in 2015, while his wife, Kunis, 35, has been paying the bills hawking bourbon on TV.

WILL FERRELL

- Here’s where the fun begins — literally. Ferrell, 51, another breakout star of “Saturday Night Live,” has been Sox diehard Mark Wahlberg’s co-star in several comedies, including two “Daddy’s Home” films. Ferrell gets a free pass if he brings the cowbell from the classic SNL “The Reaper” parody.

EARVIN “MAGIC” JOHNSON

- The retired Los Angeles Laker point guard, 59, will always be NBA royalty, but these days he’s true blue to baseball as one of the Dodgers’ owners. Still, any friend of Larry Bird is a friend of ours.

ROB LOWE

- The actor, 54, has New England in his blood. His mother was born in Connecticut, after all. Having rejuvenated his career following an infamous sex scandal, Lowe could teach the Dodgers a thing or two about bouncing back from improbable odds. By aiming Lowe, there’s no telling how high L.A. can go.
