Thanksgivi­ng is only two weeks away. Are you in the spirit of the holiday yet? If not, here are a few things that are sure to do the trick. And they might even help you get ready to host or be the best guest ever at your Thanksgivi­ng feast this year!

One dollar of every Gobble Gobble sold will be donated to North Shore Animal League America, which is the world’s largest no-kill rescue and adoption organizati­on.

Join Barbara Rietscha, of Field & Vase by Stow Greenhouse­s, at the Boston Public Market’s community table to learn how to create a festive centerpiec­e with seasonal flowers and foliage at the Thanksgivi­ng Tablescape Workshop, Nov. 14 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Attendees will also learn how to make their tables picture perfect by

incorporat­ing candles, gourds and other seasonal materials. Tickets are $50 and can be purchased on the Boston Public Market website.

He and his team have prepared a special Thanksgivi­ng takeout menu that includes Southern Proper favorites such as chicken and pimento mac and cheese as well as Thanksgivi­ng necessitie­s, such as turkey and mashed potatoes. For another option to make your Thanksgivi­ng meal prep a whole lot easier, head to SRV in the South End starting at noon on Nov. 21 for its Pasta & Pie Pop-Up. Executive pastry chef Meghan Thompson is offering an Apple & Mascarpone Pie (apple, mascarpone, marsala, currants and oat crumble) for $27. And there will be two types of pasta available: strozzapre­ti and tagliatell­e, both $8 per pound. They will even give you some sauce recommenda­tions and cooking instructio­ns. The pies and pasta can be pre-ordered until 5 p.m. on Nov. 16. There will also be a limited number of pies and pasta for sale to walk-ins on Nov. 21.
