Minutemen’s Isabella finalist for Biletnikoff
UMass senior Andy Isabella is one of three finalists for the Biletnikoff Award, given to the nation’s best wide receiver. Isabella was named a finalist yesterday along with Alabama’s Jerry Jeudy and Oklahoma State’s Tylan
Wallace. The winner will be announced Dec. 6. Isabella is UMass’ national award finalist since the program made the jump to FBS. He leads the nation in catches (102) and receiving yards (1,698). Last week, the 5-foot-10, 190-pound senior from Mayfield, Ohio, had 15 catches for 219 and two touchdowns in the Minutemen’s loss at No. 5 Georgia.

Tagovailoa is a finalist for the Maxwell Award (best offensive player) and the Davey O’Brien Award (best quarterback). The Alabama star could be the first Crimson Tide player to win the O’Brien.
Other Maxwell finalists are West Virginia QB Will Grier and Oklahoma QB Kyler Murray. Murray also is an O’Brien finalist along with Washington State’s Gardner Minshew.
Josh Allen of Kentucky and Devin Bush of Michigan are among the five finalists for the Butkus Award, which goes to the nation’s best linebacker. The other finalists are Tre Lamar of Clemson, Dylan Moses of Alabama and
Devin White of LSU. Allen and Bush last week were named finalists for the Bronko Nagurski Trophy that goes to the country’s best defensive player.
