Knicks go overtime, top Bucks

Emmanuel Mudiay scored 28 points to lead the Knicks to a 136-134 overtime win over the Milwaukee Bucks last night in New York. Rookie forward Kevin Knox scored a career-high 26 points as New York snapped a two-game losing streak. Damyean Dotson and Tim Hardaway Jr. added 21 points each. Noah Vonleh contribute­d 15 points. Giannis Antetokoun­mpo had 33 points and 19 rebounds for Milwaukee, which has lost three of its last five. Eric Bledsoe added 27 points. Malcolm Brogdon finished with 22 points, Brook Lopez had 13, and Khris Middleton and Tony Snell each chipped in with 10. Antetokoun­mpo hit a free throw that started the scoring in overtime, and New York responded with a 3-pointer by Mudiay that gave the Knicks a 127-125 lead. Bledsoe tied the game with a layup, but Mudiay answered again with another 3. Bledsoe hit a 3-pointer that tied the game at 130all, then Antetokoun­mpo scored Milwaukee’s next four points, sandwiched around a Hardaway jumper as the Bucks to a 134-132 lead. Following a timeout, Dotson knocked down a 3-pointer that gave the Knicks a 135-134 edge. Antetokoun­mpo missed a runner in the lane, and a Mudiay hit a free throw that pushed New York’s advantage to 136-134. On the next possession, Robinson blocked Bledsoe’s driving layup, forcing a jump ball. Antetokoun­mpo won the tip, and Lopez was fouled. He missed both free throws, and Antetokoun­mpo’s last attempt under the basket was blocked by Kanter.

Wizards 102, Nets 88 — John Wall scored 30 points, Bradley Beal added 22 and host Washington handed Brooklyn its sixth straight loss. Markieff Morris rebounded from a 1-for-10 shooting night Friday in a loss at Philadelph­ia to score 20 points on 9-for-12 shooting. He had 15 points in the fourth quarter. Allen Crabbe led Brooklyn with 14 points. The losing streak is the Nets’ longest since an eight-game skid in February. Pistons 111, Warriors 102 — Blake Griffin scored 26 points and Andre Drummond added a double-double as host Detroit extended its winning streak to five games, beating Golden State. Stephen Curry returned to the Golden State lineup after missing 11 games with a groin strain and scored 27 points on 10-of-21 shooting. Curry went 3 of 9 from 3-point range. Drummond finished with 16 points and 19 rebounds, including eight offensive boards. Detroit had six players score in double figures.

Raptors 106, Cavaliers 95 — Kawhi Leonard scored 34 points, Fred VanVleet added 15 and visiting Toronto won its eighth straight game despite missing All-Star guard Kyle Lowry, beating Cleveland. Danny Green and Pascal Siakam added 15 apiece as the Raptors improved the NBA’s best record to 20-4, reaching the 20-win mark quicker than at any time in their history. Rockets 121, Bulls 105 — James Harden made six 3-pointers and scored 30 points to help host Houston to its second win in as many nights, beating Chicago. The victory comes a night after the Rockets snapped a season-high four game skid with a win 136-105 win at San Antonio.
