EMMA ABRAMSON SANDWICH

The eighth-grader from STEM Academy placed fifth in South sectionals with an 83 as well as 24th in state with a 90. She finished third in Cape and Islands and ended the season with a personal record of 11-0. The high honor roll student and president of the National Junior Honor Society wants to play Division 1 golf in the future and is a Sports Illustrate­d Kids Kid Reporter for 2019-20.

ELLIE DE ANDRADE NOTRE DAME

The sophomore went 13-0-1 on the season and qualified for the IMG Junior World Championsh­ip. She finished third at South sectionals as the Cougars won the team championsh­ip. A Bourdon Scholarshi­p winner, de Andrade has won three consecutiv­e Mass. Bay League All-Star championsh­ips.

JILLIAN BAREND NORTH ATTLEBORO

The Hockomock League All-Star and co-captain of the boys golf team finished seventh in the South sectionals this season. The junior founded the Girls Independen­t Golf League and won the Internatio­nal Network Player Developmen­tal Award. The National Honor Society member also participat­es in New England PGA and the U.S. Challenge Cup.

JENNIE GROGAN MONOMOY

The high honor roll student went undefeated in league play this season. The eighth-grader placed second with a 78 in South sectionals. She also placed sixth in states with an 80 and second at the New England Championsh­ips with a 70. Grogan is a high honor roll student and a member of Best Buddies.

TATE HADGES OLIVER AMES

The junior shot a 78 to finish fourth in the Division 2 South boys tournament. A member of the three-time South champion team, she was a Hockomock League honorable mention while qualifying for the girls state tournament every year. The three-year varsity player also is an MIAA Student Athlete Leader. A threeseaso­n athlete, Hadges has competed in basketball, tennis and outdoor track.

ABBY JAYE HOPKINTON

The three-time Tri-Valley League AllStar won the South sectional title this year with a 75 while shooting an 82 in the state championsh­ip. The senior was captain for the boys team and was awarded TVL Rookie of the Year her freshman year. The National Honor Society member was awarded the Jane Wezel Athletic Scholarshi­p and will be golfing at Stonehill next season.

CHRISTINE MANDILE WINCHESTER

The sophomore co-captain had another solid season, improving her career mark to 20-5 in two seasons. She finished third in North sectionals with a 3-over 75 while also shooting a 3-over 75 at New Englands. The Spanish Teacher’s Assistant was named a Middlesex League All-Star in the fall and aspires to play golf at the collegiate level.

MACKENZIE MURPHY HAVERHILL

Murphy placed 13th at states with an 83 and 12th at New Englands with an 80. In the fall, Murphy was the low female finisher in the Division 1 North boys tournament, carding an 85. The sophomore finished third in the NEPGA Junior Tour rankings. The Honor Roll student plans to play golf at college after she graduates in 2021.

EMILY NASH LUNENBURG

The senior was named MVP of her team for the fifth straight year and a League All-Star for the third time with her second league MVP. The 2018 girls state champion and 2017 boys sectional champ qualified for the 2018 Junior PGA Championsh­ip and 2018 USGA Girls Jr. Championsh­ip. A 2019 Principal’s Leadership Award winner, Nash will play Division 1 golf at Elon University in the fall while planning to major in finance.

SUFANA NOORWEZ SHREWSBURY

The junior was named co-captain for the boys golf team next season after finishing eighth in North/ Central/West sectionals and states this past season. She placed second in 2017 in sectionals and fifth in states. The honor roll student also has participat­ed in the U.S. Challenge Cup, NEPGA Junior Tour and AJGA tournament­s.

MARGOT OSTERMAN NOTREDAME

A two-time Herald All-Scholastic, the junior went undefeated this season while shooting an 86 in the South sectionals and an 82 in states. She shot a low round of 75 this season. Osterman wants to be a nurse in the future.

ELEANOR PARKERSON BOSTON LATIN

A Dual County League All-Star and member of the league champion team, Parkerson finished fifth at the state championsh­ip (78) and fourth at New Englands (evenpar 71). The eighth-grader was the winner of the Hurricane Boston Junior Open at Blackstone National Golf Club in 2019.

KAYLA SCHUBERTH KING PHILIP

The Hockomock League All-Star was named MVP for the Warriors boys team in the fall. The junior placed 10th with an 85 in the South girls sectionals and 10th with an 85 in the girls states after also competing in the boys states in the fall. The National Latin Honor Society member and All Honors student also is a Hockomock League champion in diving.

GABRIELLE SHIEH CONCORD-CARLISLE

The three-time North sectional champion and twotime state champion was named MVP of the boys golf team in the fall. One of the most decorated female golfers in state history, Shieh placed fourth in Drive, Chip and Putt Nationals. The junior was an AJGA Transameri­ca Junior Scholastic All-American in 2018. She also is a National Honor Society member.

MADALIN SMALL NEWTON SOUTH

The sophomore placed third at states with a score of 76. She was part of the boys golf team that made the sectionals in the fall. The twotime All-Scholastic is an honor roll student and played junior varsity basketball for the past two seasons. She would like to play college golf after she graduates in 2021.

MORGAN SMITH WESTFORD ACADEMY

The state runnerup with a 2-over 75 also took third in the North/Central/West sectionals with a 3-over 75. The freshman won the U.S. Challenge Cup World Series of Junior Golf and is a two-time state father-daughter forward division champion. The high honor roll student wants to play Division 1 college golf.

KAITLYNN WASHBURN SCITUATE

The boys team captain finished as state runner-up in the girls tournament in both 2017 and 2018. The four-time All-Scholastic was named a Patriot League AllStar this season. The senior won South sectionals in 2018 with a 75. She is taking a post-graduate year at IMG Golf Academy and hopes to play Division 1 golf.
