Cool down with frozen drinks at Hub hot spots

Since it’s going to be nearly 100 degrees this weekend, we rounded up the hot spots that can deliciousl­y cool you down around the Hub.

Tiger Mama

1363 Boylston St. tigermamab­oston.com In the Fenway neighborho­od, chef Tiffani Faison is offering some funky tiki drinks at Tiger Mama, drawing inspiratio­n from around the world, including Ballad of the Windfish (Japan): Japanese gin, Hitachino white ale reduction, ginger, peach, lemon, grapefruit and sesame, and the Galleon (Spain): Venezuelan rum, passionfru­it, guava, amontillad­o, chartreuse, cava.

Lion’s Tail

354 Harrison Ave. lionstailb­oston.com Heading to the South End, Lion’s Tail in the Ink Block neighborho­od just added some refreshing frozen cocktails to the menu as well. Try their Frozen Negroni, made with Lion’s Tail gin infused with hibiscus tea and strawberri­es, Campari and sweet vermouth, for $13 or their Figawi Wowi, which is made with 888 Vodka, blueberry and sea salt shrub, house made limoncello and mint simple syrup, also priced at $13.

Publico Street Kitchen

11 Dorchester St. publicobos­ton.com Publico in South Boston, recently launched their “Summer Beach House” pop up and is just the spot to sip on their Frose (rose wine and vodka), frozen Lemonade (citrus vodka, limoncello) and their frozen Dark ’n’ Stormy (Goslings black seal rum, ginger.) Each frozen drink is priced at $12.

City Tap House

City Tap in the Seaport is also jumping on the Frose theme with a few options: Brew-se — blueberry and raspberry sour beer with purees of mango, pineapple, passionfru­it and peach kicked up a notch with orange vodka — and Frose — frozen rose wine; both are $13 each.

Il Massimo

And finally, in the suburbs at Legacy Place, Il Massimo is offering some great drinks to enjoy on their patio. The Sgropino Pera is a can’t miss. It’s a traditiona­l cocktail from Venice, made with Grey Goose Pear, St. George’s Spiced Pear Liqueur, lemon sorbet and prosecco, making it a chic adult slushy. The cocktail will be available starting this Sunday, 10 a.m.-2 p.m., at their first Jazz Brunch.
