LOVE’S A GAMBLE

Ben Higgins to host ‘The Bachelor Live on Stage’ at Mohegan Sun in 2020

- by Olivia Vanni

Sorry, New Englanders who are looking for love, but we’d like to steal you for a second to share an announcement. “The Bachelor Live on Stage” is expected to stop in Connecticut, and it’ll be coming over here for the right reasons: to ignite a potential romance in our neck of the woods, while also providing endless entertainment for the rest of us.

As we’re still recovering from the rollercoaster ride that was the reality series’ “Men Tell All” episode earlier this week, Mohegan Sun just announced that a live version of the hit ABC dating show is set to come to its arena on March 25, 2020, as part of an official national tour. Hosted by former Bachelor and franchise fan favorite Ben Higgins, the event will strive to squeeze a whole season of juicy dating drama into one evening.

The spectacle will spotlight a local eligible bachelor — knock on wood, especially given a couple of Hannah

B’s suitors and their questionable relationship statuses on the current season of the TV show — allowing ladies from the audience to vie for his attention. Higgins will try to help the lucky man through his extremely public journey to find love, which will include staples of the series like the first-impression rose, group date challenges and those enviable one-on-ones. All while a crammed arena gets to kick back, watch all the action and provide plenty of crowd participation. And who said romance was dead?

Tickets are slated to go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday through

Ticketmaster, and you can find more information about the show itself through “The Bachelor Live on Stage” website.
