Back and potentially better than ever.

That’s the way people are looking at BB&N and with good reason. The defending Kevin Driscoll Bowl champion is loaded on the line as Michigan-bound Zak Zinter leads a dominant group that includes Andrew Nee, Nathan Roach and Jaden Young. Running backs Sammy Malignaggi and Matt Bulman will love running behind this group.

Sophomore standout Tyler Martin and Russell Campbell are back at linebacker, while Cam Impemba will make his presence felt at wide receiver as well as defensive back.

Milton Academy (4-4) has the potential to be a contender in the ISL-6, especially if Michigan-bound running back/linebacker Kalel Mullings can stay healthy. He is one of several talented returnees including quarterback Jake Willcox, wide receiver Mitch Gonser, running back Kyle Santiago and linemen Garrett Doherty and Zach Vaughn.

Belmont Hill (8-1) should be strong in the trenches as Aaron Sousa, Max Peterson, Isaiah Gomes and Jack McHugh are back. All-Scholastic Greg Desrosiers. Cam Reirden and Blake Brookes return at wide receiver, while Ikenna Ugbaja is back on the defensive line.

Governor’s Academy (4-4) is going to be heard from this fall as quarterback Shane O’Leary is back along with a slew of experienced players at the skill positions.

Lawrence Academy (2-6) went though a wild 2018 season, but believes it can bounce back. Brady Martin is a top quarterback, Tony Muse is a productive back and Paul Yiadom is a two-way regular at wide receiver and defensive back.

Noble and Greenough (8-1) had its best season in years and capped it off by winning the Mark Conroy Bowl. Nobles has several marquee players back led by Wisconsin-bound tight end Cam Large, linebacker Casey Phinney, quarterback Jackson Phinney and linemen Drew Kendall and Mike Lukasevich.

Brooks (3-5) looks to bounce back as running back John Manzi and wide receivers John Fritz and Kobe Briand lead an experienced group of returnees. Groton (4-4) should be solid at the skill position as all-ISL running back Caleb Coleman.

Middlesex (4-4) has quarterback Cole Cleary back and he’ll be throwing to a group of receivers led by Cole Nye, Cal Fries, Cedrick Paradis and Sahnai Swain-Price. Rivers (3-5) will be led by wide receivers Abe Dekin and Trevor Noble on offense as well as linebackers Gregg Dennison, Joe Kraft and Mason Tuff.

Roxbury Latin (4-4) will start seven seniors on the both sides of the ball. Ejiro Egodogbare and Javier Rios will be mainstays on the defensive line.

St. Mark’s (1-7) welcomes a new coach in Anthony Figueiredo and he is expecting big things from offensive lineman/linebacker Jordan Uzochukwu.

Dan Burke takes over for the legendary Bob Souza at St. Sebastian’s (7-2). He will rely on a trio of returning starters in wide receiver Kristian Rosario, lineman Mike Van Flandern and tight end Louis Hansen.

Tabor (2-6) has plenty of experienced players back led by lineman Ted Dunn and Sam Hazzard, defensive backs Sam Monaghan and Colton Mairs and quarterback Reid Tolley. Thayer Academy (6-3) played in a NEPSAC Bowl last year and is looking to wide receivers Jack Schneider, Myles Wilson and running backs Barry Bourassa, Terah Jean and lineman Danya Abrams to have big years.

In the Evergreen League, Dexter Southfield (7-2) will be looking go back to a NEPSAC Bowl. Star quarterback Luke MacPhail is back to run the show once again and he isn’t the only experienced player back.

Pingree (7-1-1) advanced to a NEPSAC bowl. The Highlanders will look to quarterback Colton Fahey, wide receiver Harrison Greenslade, running back Billy Stevens and defensive back Tim Dowd.
