Miami spoils Bucks opener

Goran Dragic scored 25 points off the bench, Bam Adebayo added 19 points and the Miami Heat rallied from a 21-point third-quarter deficit to beat Giannis Antetokoun­mpo and the Milwaukee Bucks in overtime 131126 on Saturday night.

Antetokoun­mpo finished with 29 points, 17 rebounds and nine assists, but last season's MVP also had eight turnovers and fouled out with 2:31 to play in overtime. Antetokoun­mpo also fouled out Thursday night in Houston.

With the Heat up 121-119 with 3 seconds to play in regulation, Khris Middleton shot an air ball and Antetokoun­mpo tipped it in at the buzzer to send the game into overtime.

Adebayo sank four free throws in the extra period and Dragic scored six points in overtime to lift Miami to its second win.

Kendrick Nun scored 18 points before fouling out for the Heat, who had seven players score in double digits. Miami rookie Tyler Herro, a Milwaukee native, finished with 14.

Middleton added 25 points for the Bucks.

Heat guard Jimmy Butler missed his second straight game after he and his girlfriend welcomed a baby on Wednesday.

76ers 117, Pistons 111 —

With Joel Embiid sitting out because of a sprained right ankle, Al Horford had 23 points, nine rebounds and five assists playing center as Philadelph­ia picked up the win in Detroit.

Tobias Harris scored 16 of his game-high 29 points in the third quarter on 6-of-7 shooting, making all three of his 3-point shots. Off the bench, Mike Scott finished the game with 17 points, making 5 of 6 3-point attempts.

Scott made a pair of foul shots with 5.4 seconds left to seal the six-point win.

Hawks 103, Magic 99 —

Trae Young scored 39 points, including five key points late in the fourth quarter, to help Atlanta to a 103-99 home win over Orlando.

Evan Fournier scored 23 points to lead the Magic (1-1), who struggled offensivel­y for much of the game and shot just 35.7% from the field.

Nikola Vucevic had 16 points and 10 rebounds for his second double-double of the season while D.J. Augustin added 14 points and Markelle Fultz had 12 points for the Magic, who went 4-0 against the Hawks last season.

Young wound up 16 of 25 from the field and was the only starter to reach double figures for the Hawks (2-0). It was the second straight game he eclipsed the 30point mark.

Cavaliers 110, Pacers 99 —

Tristan Thompson registered his second consecutiv­e double-double with 25 points and 13 rebounds, and Kevin Love just missed a triple-double with 21 points, 13 rebounds and nine assists leading Cleveland to a home win over Indiana as the Cavs honored their 50th anniversar­y season.

Collin Sexton totaled 18 points, five rebounds and three assists and Jordan Clarkson came off the bench for 15 points. Rookie point guard Darius Garland added 12 points and four assists.

Malcolm Brogdon led the Pacers with 30 points and 10 assists.

Raptors 108, Bulls 84 —

Five Raptors scored in double figures, led by Pascal Siakam’s 19. Fred VanVleet added 16 points and six assists as the defending champs won in Chicago.

Wendell Carter Jr. paced the Bulls with 12 points.
