A 39-year-old man will be arraigned in Framingham District Court on Wednesday on charges of killing a man and his son on Friday, authorities said.

Aneudy Delgado Torres of Framingham was arrested on Tuesday at a Marlboro hotel in connection with the killings of James “Manny” Wade, 45, and his son, James Wade, 24, according to Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan and Framingham Police Chief Steven Trask.

Delgado Torres will be arraigned on two counts of murder, possession of a large-capacity magazine, possession of a firearm and possession of ammunition, Ryanand-Trasksaid.

Shortly after 11:30 p.m. on Friday, Framingham police responded to 911 calls of shots fired in the area of Second Street and Beaver Terrace Circle, authorities said. There, they found the two victims suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

The younger Wade was pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said. His father was rushed to MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham, where he died of his injuries, authorities said.

On the day of the killings, the victims went to a parking lot adjacent to Beaver Terrace Circle to meet people they knew, authorities said. When the victims showed up in the area of 44-46 Second St., several people, including Delgado Torres, already were in the parking lot, an area known for drug transactions, authorities said.

“Suddenly and without any conversation between the groups, Delgado Torres allegedly pulled out a firearm and began shooting,”

Ryan and Trask said in a joint statement. “Both victims sustained multiple gunshot wounds. At this time, the relationship between Delgado Torres and the victims is still under investigation.”

Recently, there has been competition between drug sellers for control of that area, they said.

Officers found that a bullet that had been fired during the altercation pierced an apartment door and landed above where a 4-yearold child was sleeping, authorities said. A gun was found in the area and is part of the ongoing investigation, they said.
