Sanders’ socialism deserves closer scrutiny

Bernie Sanders deserves closer scrutiny now that he has emerged as the presumptive Democratic frontrunner on the strength of wins in the Nevada Democratic caucus, Iowa and New Hampshire, leaving Massachusetts’ fake Indian Elizabeth Warren in the dust.

Start with his far left Socialist policies including the promise that if elected he would destroy America’s healthcare system and the millions of jobs that go with it. Wave goodbye to your doctor and private health plan as all Americans will be forced onto a single plan run by the federal government.

This is the same government that couldn’t even get websites to work during the botched Obamacare rollout.

Sanders has vowed to increase taxes on those making $29,000 or more per year in order to fund his laundry list of Socialist “freebies,” including Medicare for All, “free” college tuition and the $93 trillion Green New Deal disaster just to name a few. Sanders’ big government policies will bring the U.S. economy to its knees.

What good is it raising the minimum wage to $15 per hour, something Sanders champions, if his tax plan turns around and grabs a chunk of it?

If someone makes $15 per hour under a Sanders presidency they’ll earn $31,200 per year based on a 40 hour work week. Since the Vermont

Socialist vows to raise taxes on all those making $29,000 or more — there goes your raise.

See how this works?

Now let’s examine the hypocrisy and elitism displayed by Sanders. Yesterday he tweeted, “It is not acceptable for Americans to need two or three jobs to put food on the table. It’s not acceptable that half of Americans live paycheck to paycheck. It’s not acceptable that three people own more wealth than the bottom half of Americans.”

Huh? If the conversation is about “fairness” and “income equality” let’s not forget that Sanders is a multimillionaire who owns three homes. So if capitalism is the “root of all evil” as the socialist proclaims how is his wealth and opulent lifestyle exempt from the equation?

What gives him the moral authority to decide who is entitled to their net worth while others are not?

What we do know is if Sanders were sincere about wanting to assist those struggling with student loan debt or those living paycheck to paycheck, there’s nothing stopping him from selling any of his many homes and donating his wealth to the poor. But that’s not happening. To the contrary, Comrade Bernie is enjoying the lavish lifestyle that capitalism affords, replete with private jet travel, a lake house and other amenities most Americans can only dream of.

Now note that in 2018 Sanders’ tax returns revealed he only donated 3.4% of his millions to charity. But this is the same Socialist that wants to tax the hell out of the rest of us.

Gimme me a break.
