Archer put the finishing touches on a stellar career by capturing Cape Ann League Player of the Year honors for a second time. Archer, who also plays club soccer for Aztec U23, is a two-time EMSCA All-State striker. An honor roll student, he also plays hockey and baseball and plans to play college soccer, but is undecided on where.

ANATOLIY BEREZYUK BC HIGH

Starring as a go-to scorer for the Eagles, the senior captain and striker tallied 12 goals and four assists this season. For his efforts, he earned EMSCA All-State and Catholic Conference All-Star honors again. Berezyuk finished his career with 29 goals. A member of the National Honor Society, Berezyuk will attend Boston College in the fall and study internatio­nal relations.

NICHOLAS BRAGANCA BEVERLY

The junior center midfielder put together an exceptiona­l campaign to lead the Panthers. A dynamic playmaker, Braganca showcased his all-around skill with nine goals and 10 assists to capture United Soccer Coaches All-New England recognitio­n. The Northeaste­rn Conference AllStar has scored 15 goals and added 24 assists through three seasons and enjoys coaching in his spare time.

LEO COELHO MILFORD

The United Soccer Coaches All-American senior forward scored 11 goals and added 13 assists in leading Milford to a 10-0-3 season and the Hockomock League Cup title. For his career, Coelho amassed a school record 50 points, while earning a pair of EMSCA All-State and All-New England honors. In the offseason, Coelho competes with the Boston Bolts.

NADERSON CURTIS MANCHESTER-ESSEX

The junior striker led the Hornets’ attack by producing 12 goals and four assists in a 10-game shortened season. Curtis was named the Cape Ann League Baker Player of the Year and also received EMSCA All-State honors. For his career, he had 46 goals and 26 assists. Curtis plays club soccer for Rush North Shore.

LUCAS DA SILVA MILFORD

The senior midfielder played a substantia­l role in helping Milford to an unbeaten season en route to a Hockomock League Cup title. Da Silva notched eight goals and five assists this season to make his way onto the EMSCA All-State team. Da Silva also earned Hockomock League All-Star recognitio­n and finished his career with 24 goals and 13 assists.

DIEGO DIAZ WINCHESTER

One of the top scorers in the Middlesex League, the senior starred for Winchester and was named an EMSCA All-State left winger. After tying for second in the league in scoring a year ago, Diaz was a top five finisher again this season with two goals and five assists. A two-time Middlesex League All-Star, Diaz guided Winchester to a Div. 2 state title in 2019. He plays club soccer for SFC New England.

CARMINE DIPETRANTO­NIO

MASCONOMET

The senior winger dazzled in his final season with the Chieftains, helping Masconomet go 8-0-1. This season, DiPietrant­onio recorded 11 goals and seven assists as he earned an EMSCA All-State selection. An honor roll student, DiPietrant­onio also plays club soccer for Rush North Shore and plans to do a postgradua­te year after high school.

CAMERON DOWNER

DRACUT

The catalyst for the Middies, the senior captain registered four goals and 10 assists and was named an EMSCA All-State center midfielder. An All-Merrimack Valley Conference selection, Downer totaled 10 goals and 24 assists in his career and won two MVC Small titles. He plays club soccer for ECNL U18.

LIAM FOLEY BISHOP FENWICK

Foley provided sensationa­l play and a strong presence in-between the posts for the Crusaders. The senior captain was named the Catholic Central League MVP and received EMSCA All-State recognitio­n. During a 14-game unbeaten streak this season, Foley posted eight shutouts and averaged 10 saves per game as his play propelled Bishop Fenwick to a CCL Cup final.

ZACHARIAH FOSTER

BROCKTON

The junior was an anchor in the back end for the Boxers and proved to be a versatile defender playing both right and center back. Foster’s season was highlighte­d by scoring a game-winning goal and also played a factor in helping Brockton secure a Southeast Conference Tournament title. An honor roll student, Foster plays club soccer for NEFC SSU Blazers.

EDMUND HUGHES

ST. JOHN’S (SHREWSBURY)

A lockdown defender, the senior center back and captain was vital in the Pioneers run to a Catholic Conference Tournament title this season. Hughes also provided three assists this year. He was named a Catholic Conference All-Star after being an EMSCA All-State selection the year prior. A member of National Honor Society, Hughes plans to study business in college.

BOBBY HUTCHINSON

LEXINGTON

The Minutemen went 33-4-8 during Hutchinson’s three years as a starting defender and won three consecutiv­e Middlesex League titles. The senior captain was not only a Middlesex League All-Star this season, as he also earned United Soccer Coaches All-New England status. An honor roll student, Hutchinson is also a member of National Honor Society.

COOPER JONES

CONCORD- CARLISLE

The senior midfielder had a memorable final season, notching four goals and 13 assists for 17 points. He was named the Dual County League MVP and earned United Soccer Coaches All-New England honors. The two-time DCL All-Star finished his career with six goals and 19 assists. A member of the National Honor Society, Jones plans to play soccer at a NESCAC school.

BEN LABRANCHE

NAUSET

LaBranche led the Warriors to a 72-3-3 record, including claiming a Div. 2 state title, during his time as a four-year starter. The dynamic senior midfielder was a key cog again this year and earned United Soccer Coaches All-New England honors. A member of National Honor Society, LaBranche plays club soccer for Liverpool Internatio­nal Academy Massachuse­tts.

JAMES LAYDEN

MEDFIELD

The senior center midfielder notched 11 goals and six assists this season to spearhead Medfield to an undefeated 10-0 record. He was named the Tri-Valley League MVP and also received EMSCA All-State recognitio­n. A member of Spanish National Honor Society and student council, the two-time TVL All-Star finished his career with 24 goals and 35 assists.

OWEN MADDEN

MARSHFIELD

The senior captain’s stellar play at center back earned him Patriot League Kennan MVP and EMSCA All-State honors. An honor roll student, Madden, who played club soccer for New England Surf, plans to major in human studies and minor in teaching in college.

MATTHEW MELA

NATICK

The forward capped his senior season by claiming Bay State Conference Carey MVP honors. Mela also served as a captain and received EMSCA All-State status. Mela, who plays club soccer for New England Surf, is an honor roll student and will continue his soccer career next year at Springfiel­d College and plans to study exercise science.

COLIN MILLIKEN OLIVER AMES

The Southern New Hampshire University-bound midfielder was a primary offensive catalyst for the 12-1 Tigers by netting 15 goals and 15 assists in 13 games. The United Soccer Coaches All-New England selection was also crowned Hockomock League Davenport MVP, Milliken finished his career with 34 goals and 38 assists for 72 points. The two-time All-State midfielder is also an honor roll student.

ALEXANDER OAK ACTON-BOXBORO

The 6-foot-2 junior midfielder was a key performer behind Acton-Boxboro’s 7-2 season in the Dual County League. Oak was named an Eastern Mass. All-Star by the Coaches Associatio­n. In the offseason, Oak competes with Juventus Soccer Academy and 2003 EDS Bianco. His longterm goal is to major in business in college.

TAREKEGN O’NEILL MELROSE

The senior center midfielder and captain netted one goal and four assists as his all-around play landed him a spot on the EMSCA AllState team. O’Neill also was named a Middlesex League All-Star for the third time. A four-year varsity player, O’Neill plans to play collegiate soccer and study business.

ALESSANDRO OREADI WEYMOUTH

A versatile midfielder, Oreadi propelled the Wildcats to a 7-1-3 mark this season while scoring two goals and adding six assists. He earned United Soccer Coaches All-New England recognitio­n. Oreadi played 50 career games despite playing in a developmen­t academy his freshman year. He is a National Honor Society member and participat­es in his high school’s theater company.

BEDFORD

Paez was at the center of the Buccaneers run to a third consecutiv­e Dual County League Small title. The EMSCA All-State senior center midfielder registered eight goals and two assists. He was also named the DCL Small MVP. Paez, who also plays basketball and enjoys drawing, plans to continue his soccer career in college.

CHRISTIAN PERUGINI MEDWAY

The senior attacking midfielder dazzled for the 8-0-2 Mustangs this season by tallying 10 goals and 10 assists. Perugini’s dynamic and balanced play earned him Tri-Valley League MVP honors as well as EMSCA All-State recognitio­n. The two-time TVL All-Star, who plays club soccer for NEFC U19 ECNL, is a member of the National Honor Society.

LUKE SAIA PEMBROKE

The explosive senior left winger led the Titans in scoring this season with 19 goals and five assists. For his effort, the EMSCA All-State selection was named the Patriot League Fisher MVP. Saia finished with 37 career goals and will play next year at Clark University. He is also a competitiv­e snowboarde­r and a member of Computer Science Honor Society.

MICHAEL SAWICKI CARVER

A high volume scorer, Sawicki netted 16 goals and nine assists en route to being named the South Shore League Tobin MVP for a second time. Sawicki is also a two-time EMSCA All-State selection and finished his stellar career with 108 points coming from 77 goals and 31 assists.

MISCHA SPASIC NORWELL

A two-time South Shore League All-Star, the junior center midfielder took home SSL Sullivan MVP honors. For the second consecutiv­e season, Spasic earned EMSCA All-State recognitio­n. A high honors student, Spasic hopes to play soccer profession­ally while attending college in Europe in the future.

ADAM STELLJES ARCHBISHOP WILLIAMS

The junior forward for the Catholic Central League Cup champion Bishops, Stelljes led the CCL in scoring with 17 goals and was named a CCL All-Star. A two-time EMSCA EMass All-Star, Stelljes earned All-State status this season. Stelljes, who also plays club soccer for Juventus Soccer Academy, has 41 goals and 23 assists in his career.

JOEY WATERMAN ST. JOHN’S PREP

Waterman allowed a mere three goals and posted five shutouts in an undefeated regular season for the Eagles. The Catholic Conference All-Star received EMSCA All-State honors. A member of National and Spanish Honor Societies, Waterman is also the student council treasurer and the Arab Cultural Club vice president.

ERIC WIDRICK

ARLINGTON

The junior goalkeeper for the Spy Ponders recorded six shutouts and allowed a Middlesex League best three goals. He also led the league in goals against average. The Middlesex League AllStar earned EMSCA All-State recognitio­n. Widrick also plays the viola in the school orchestra.

ERIC ZHANG WAYLAND

The senior center back was a vital component of Wayland’s stout defense. Zhang was named a Dual County League All-Star and earned EMSCA All-State status. Zhang is an honor roll student and in his spare time he enjoys coding. He plans to study computer science in college.
