Fayth, 11, a top student

-

Fayth is an active, sociable young girl of African American, Caucasian and Cape Verdean descent. Swimming, playing outside and reading are some of her favorite things to do. Bacon and pineapple pizza is Fayth’s favorite food. Fayth brings great joy and happiness into the lives of the people who know her best. She has many friends at school and in her community. In school, Fayth is doing very well, and her teachers report she is an excellent student.

Fayth is legally freed for adoption and would do well with an active family that could provide a structured home environment. Fayth’s one wish is for her future adoptive family to either know, or be willing to learn American Sign Language. The recommendation is for Fayth to be placed in a home with a single mother or two-parent family. Interested families should be able to maintain the Open Adoption Agreement with Fayth’s birth mother, and the connection she has with her two sisters. They should also be open to supporting Fayth’s needs when it comes to her hearing loss.

Who can adopt?

Can you provide the guidance, love and stability that a child needs? If you’re at least 18 years old, have a stable source of income and room in your heart, you may be a perfect match to adopt a waiting child.

The process to adopt a child from foster care requires training, interviews and home visits to determine if adoption is right for you.

To learn more about adoption from foster care, call the Massachusetts Adoption Resource Exchange at 617964-6273 or go to mareinc.org. The sooner you call, the sooner a waiting child will have “a permanent place to call home.”
