White House slams US as migrants surge

- Peter Lucas

It is nothing short of amazing that thousands of illegal immigrants — many children — risk their lives on the southern border to come such a lousy country like the United States.

Didn’t they hear President Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris warn the world about how America, once the land of the free and home of the brave, is riddled with systematic racism, white supremacy, misogyny and police brutality?

Surely the parents of these children in El Salvador, Nicaragua, Honduras and Mexico would, like concerned parents everywhere, have kept their children at home if they knew how rotten things are in the United States.

Instead, they are sending them on hazardous journeys to get to this terrible place, often paying Mexican drug thugs thousands of dollars to get them across the border.

Had these parents been forewarned, they could have sent their children to Russia or China instead.

Everyone who reads The New York Times or Washington Post, or watches NBC, knows how much better things are there than here, even though people don’t break in, like they do in America, but rather they break out.

This country is so bad that if these children, untested as they are, do not bring the COVID-19 virus with them and spread it across the country, they will catch it when they get here.

That is because racist vaccinators will discriminate against them because of their color, just as Democrats and their propaganda outlets allege that the U.S. systematically discriminates against all people of color.

“Racism is real in America and it always has been,” Harris said last week in Atlanta. “Xenophobia is real in America, and always has been. Sexism too,” she added.

Harris made her remarks at an event in Atlanta with Biden where they expressed grief over the victims of massage parlor shootings that left eight people dead, including six Asian American women.

While there are indications that the shootings had more to do with sex — or a sex addiction of the crazed shooter — than race, the two leaders framed the shootings as racial hatred against Asian Americans rather than a hate crime against women.

And of course, they blamed Donald Trump because he called the COVID-19 virus that came out of China the “China virus” and thereby, according to Biden, unleashed a wave of hatred against Asian Americans.

No one asked how these mostly unskilled young women from Asia are transported to the United States to end up working like slaves in “massage” parlors which, in many cases, are nothing more than quick sex shops.

For Biden and the Democrats, it is easier to continue to divide the country by hyping racism and white supremacy, real or imagined, than it is to deal with economic and social disparities.

Biden began his presidency talking about “political extremism, white supremacy and domestic terrorism’ at his inauguration, and he has not stopped.

“I got involved in politics to begin with because of civil rights and opposition to white supremacists, the Ku Klux Klan,” Biden said at a CNN town hall in February. He said domestic terror “is the greatest threat” in America.

Biden has been in public life for 44 years, 36 as a U.S. senator and eight as vice president. Yet it is only now that he has discovered white supremacy.

Back in 2010, however, then-Vice President Joe Biden had nothing but praise of the late West Virginia Sen. Robert Byrd, a white supremacist and a recruiter for the Ku Klux Klan, a designated hate group.

At his funeral Biden said Byrd “was a friend, a mentor and a guide.”

So why would anyone would want to come to this rotten and racist country?
