‘Never Again’

-

How many times have we heard politicians and media and educators say “Never Again” to genocide. It is usually well after the battle, and in a safe place they all mount the soap box to speak sternly about the zero tolerance democracy has for inhumanity. But that only works until a world class thug bullies the well-spoken freedomloving politicians. For the first month, Putin did what he wanted to do in the face of the U.S.A. and the NATO alliance. If you needed proof of crimes against humanity in the past couple of weeks it has become plain.

Nobody expects other countries to do the fighting for someone else. The U.S. has tried it too many times, only to discover it does not work. But the Free World has no right whatsoever to speak of high morals while we let another democracy get crushed, not because they will not fight for themselves, but because we all refuse to give them the tools to do it. The Ukrainian people and their leadership has the will to fight and do exactly what the Free World has opted not to do since 1945; WIN! We have reached a point where if Putin gains an acre of land, it will just be a catalyst for he and others like him to calculate the pros and cons of future aggressions.

Our unwillingness to give President Zelenskyy what we can easily do so that he does not offend Putin diplomatically is cowardice, not strategic. And Russians knows exactly what you can do with government investigations. Meanwhile more Ukrainians needlessly keep dying. It’s a world problem now; not a Ukrainian one.
