Jaydan Exalus erupted for 35 points, as Cardinal Spellman knocked off Dover-Sherborn, 71-68, in a nonleague boys basketball contest.

Colin Farren poured in 26 points, while Dylan Posey buried five threepoint­ers for Stoneham in a 70-56 win over Ipswich. … Anthony Forte finished with 26 points, as Peabody (15-5) pulled away for a 6953 win over Revere. … Gill Dolan poured in a careerhigh 33 points and Edric Louissaint scored 17 points, propelling Weymouth to its first state tournament qualificat­ion since 2014 with a 75-56 win over Newton South. … Giovanni Jean knocked down 22 points and distribute­d eight assists, while Ederick Gonzalez and Cesar Reyes scored 14 points each to propel Lynn Tech (17-3) to a 6957 win over Somerville. … Trevor Jones led the way with 23 points, while Tate Fiedler finished 5-for-6 at the free throw stripe to seal the game late as Duxbury (10-10) clinched a statewide playoff berth with a wild 51-47 win over Falmouth. … Isaiah Michel dialed up 18 points as Randolph (154) defeated Southeaste­rn 67-40.

Senior Lorenzo Jackson registered a double-double (15 points, 12 rebounds), while senior Josh Campbell added 15 points himself to lead Archbishop Williams (18-0) during a 74-57 victory over Catholic Central League foe Bishop Stang.

Mike Dankert converted four clutch free throws down the stretch, finishing with 18 points overall as Bourne (15-3) edged South Coast Conference rival Wareham in a 79-78 overtime thriller.

Amir Lindsey sank 17 points, grabbed seven rebounds and provided seven assists, while Jay Jones had 12 points for Rivers (20-2) in a 69-42 Independen­t School League win over Nobles.

Girls basketball

Korynne Holden and Leah Sylvain dropped 24 points apiece to power Westport to a 70-8 Mayflower Athletic Conference blowout win over Bishop Connolly. … Ally Johnson paced things with 11 points, as Blue Hills (18-2) defeated Old Colony, 39-34.
