Pot shop worker busted

Boston Police arrested Izaiah Carvajal-Morales, 24, of Brockton, at around 4:30 p.m. Tuesday following a call of a weapon found at Seed Recreation­al Cannabis Dispensary at 401 Centre St. in Jamaica Plain.

Police say they found a Glock pistol with one round in the chamber as well as two additional loaded magazines, one with 24 rounds and the other with 11, in the locker room and determined that store employee Carvajal-Morales was the owner.

The suspect does not have a gun license and was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition and unlawful possession of a firearm without an FID card.

Revere man allegedly tried to share child porn with police

Sani Zuntu, 24, of Revere, was charged in Boston Municipal Court Wednesday with one count of possession of child pornograph­y and one charge of distributi­ng obscene matter after prosecutor­s say that he shared the materials with undercover agents he agreed to meet with in a hotel room.

“Hey, can we talk please,” Zuntu on Feb. 28 allegedly texted a member of a covert unit made up of Boston police and FBI agents before sending videos of adults molesting children. He’s then alleged to have set up an appointmen­t to share more materials in a Boston hotel room, where the investigat­ors identified themselves and seized various electronic devices, including his iPhone, an HP laptop and an iPad.

East Boston man gets prison for 2019 drunken driving crash

Dylan Etheridge, 26, on Tuesday in Suffolk Superior Court was sentenced to six to 10 years in state prison on a charge of operating under the influence resulting in manslaught­er for a 2019 crash that killed Amber Pelletier, 20, of Central Falls, R.I.

Judge Katie Rayburn also imposed concurrent 2 ½-year sentences for operating under the influence resulting in serious bodily injury and leaving the scene of an accident resulting in death. Etheridege was convicted following a jury trial on Dec. 9.

Dorchester teen killed in Dedham crash

Rakeem Akile Austin, 17, of Dorchester, died in a crash on Washington Street in Dedham Tuesday morning, according to the Norfolk DA’s office.

Police responded to the area of 21 Washington St., near the West Roxbury Line, before 11:15 a.m. for a collision between a commercial dump truck with two occupants and a moped with two occupants.

Austin was the driver of the moped and was pronounced dead, whereas the passenger was transporte­d by ambulance.
