Sullivan sinks 1,000th point in Foxboro victory

Kailey Sullivan surpassed 1,000 career points (1,008 in total, 19 on the night), and Camryn Collins chipped in with 12 points as Foxboro (10-1) routed Canton 74-30 in Hockomock League girls basketball action.

MacKenzie Pires (21 points, three steals), Mia Gentile (15 points, seven rebounds, six steals), and Brooke Fisher (12 points, four rebounds, three assists) set the tone for Somerset Berkley (5-5) in a 53-28 South Coast Conference win over Dighton-Rehoboth. … Hannah Kuriscak’s 14 points led three different players in double-digit scoring figures as Apponequet (10-2) defeated Greater New Bedford, 60-51.

Mackenzie Hohulin put up 27 points, and Carly Fernandez scored 11 points as Plymouth North (6-5) topped Silver Lake 57-48 in a Patriot League matchup.

Jai’ Reona Brown Carter registered a double-double with 27 points and 12 rebounds to go along with six assists, while Adriana Chandler collected nine points and six steals as Brighton bested East Boston 50-16 in the Boston City League.

Brooke Pulpi posted a double-double with 23 points and 10 rebounds, while Abby Strong and Molly Trahan had nine points each as Reading (73) defeated Winchester 4743 in the Middlesex League.

Lamees Alasaad (20 points), Madison Maier (15 points) and Cassidy Saindon (12 points) reached double figures in scoring for Dracut in a 61-41 Merrimack Valley Conference win over Haverhill.

Mollie Mullen and Maddy Steel tallied 12 points apiece, and Shannon LaMorticel­li had 10 points and nine rebounds as Bishop Feehan cruised to a 70-7 Catholic Central League win over Cardinal Spellman. … Reese Matela poured in 18 points, while Charleigh Green and Jillian Roberts tacked on eight points each and Lily Norton finished with seven points as St. Mary’s (Lynn) (12-3) downed Arlington Catholic, 66-29.

Elliana Scalabrine led the way with 21 points, while Erica Hills scored 12 points and Amari Hughes had eight points as Dover-Sherborn (9-2) defeated Ashland 58-43 in Tri-Valley League play.

Sarah Chenette (18 points, five steals), Addy Andrews (12 points) and Natalia Kluza (nine points) paced things offensivel­y for Cohasset in a 47-37 South Shore League win over Abington.

Janae Holmes dialed up 16 of her game-high 20 points in the second half, helping Lowell Catholic (5-5) run away with a 3924 Commonweal­th Athletic Conference win over Northeast.

Boys basketball

In a Catholic Central League contest, Josiah Quintana drained 23 points to propel St. Mary’s (Lynn) (9-3) during a 59-42 victory over Arlington Catholic.

Giovanni Jean and Jayden Welch recorded 16 points each as Lynn Tech (8-2) beat Whittier 62-30 in the Commonweal­th Athletic Conference.

Junior guard Kobe Nguyen finished with a career-high 30 points and finished 11-of-14 from the free throw stripe, as North Quincy held on for a 71-65 victory over crosstown foe Quincy in Patriot League action. … Troy Chase drilled 23 points (seven triples), and Cody Quinn and Nelson Thevenin added 11 points each as Plymouth North defeated Silver Lake, 60-49.

Tyler Staiti (13 points), Kingston Maxwell (12 points) and Connor Pease (12 points, eight rebounds, six blocks) lit up the scoreboard, and Michael Reilly provided strong defense as Abington (8-4) secured a 47-27 South Shore League win over Cohasset.
