CONCETTA “CONNIE” ANGIULO (CAPODILUPO)

Concetta “Connie” Angiulo (Capodilupo) of the North End (formerly of Medford), passed away peacefully on April 14, 2024. She was 95 years old. Connie was the beloved wife of the late Michele Angiulo; cherished mother of Michael Angiulo and his wife Michelle of Palm Bay, Florida, and the late Joseph Angiulo; devoted daughter of the late Aniello and Adeline “Lily” Capodilupo. She was predecease­d by her loving siblings Daniel Capodilupo, Annette Mastrullo, and Arthur Capodilupo. Connie is survived by many adoring nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Connie lived her life in devotion to her Catholic faith, her family, and her friends - especially those from her treasured North End community. Born and raised in the North End, she was a lifelong parishione­r of

St. Leonard’s Church and a proud member of the St. Lucy Society. She organized legendary spaghetti suppers and fashion show fundraiser­s for the Church, and worked as one of the first volunteer receptioni­sts at the community nursing home. She and her husband Mike raised their two boys in Medford, and after Mike’s passing, Connie moved back to the North End, where she lived the rest of her life among family and friends. She will always be remembered for her generosity, sharp wit, humor, and unparallel­ed story telling. A commanding presence in a tiny frame, Connie will be forever loved and greatly missed.

Connie’s family will welcome visitors on Saturday, April 20th at 9:30 AM at St. Leonard’s Church, 320 Hanover Street, North End, Boston 02113, with a Mass of Christian Burial immediatel­y following at 11:30 AM. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Connie’s memory to St. Leonard’s Church. Arrangemen­ts by the: Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home, Everett.
