THEODOS, Louis

Age 80 of Dover, MA, passed away on October 26, with his family by his side. He was the beloved husband of the late Pam Theodos for 57 years until her passing in 2019. He was the devoted son of the late Andrea Apostol and Vangjelia (Cotto) Theodos of Brookline. Louis was born on January 13, 1942, in the West End of Boston and later moved to Brookline, MA, where he grew up. He attended Pierce Elementary School and was a graduate of Brookline High class of 1959. After graduating from Brookline High School, he attended Massachuse­tts College of Pharmacy. In his early career he worked in Pharmaceut­ical Sales for several years, before making a career change to Restaurant Management where he worked at the renowned, Anthony’s Pier 4, as a general manager for 32 years. Louis continued to work in the restaurant industry and most recently was working at HRI Restaurant Brokers. He enjoyed the industry very much, building relationsh­ips over the years and always running into a familiar face.

Louis married his high school sweetheart, Pam on June 24, 1962. After getting married, they lived in Brookline where they started their family and had three daughters before moving to Dover, MA, in 1975 where they built their home and raised their family.

In his earlier years, Louis was an active member of St. George Albanian Orthodox Cathedral, and belonged to many church organizati­ons over the years. He was very proud of his Albanian heritage as his parents were Albanian immigrants and he travelled to Albania several times to visit relatives. Louis loved his home in Dover. He enjoyed doing yardwork, gardening, doing home repairs, and floating in his pool in the summers. His most favorite pastimes were sitting on the back porch in the summer watching the birds at the birdfeeder­s and in the winters, sitting in his family room by the fireplace. He loved fireplace season. Louis also had a passion for old classic cars which he bought and fixed up when he was younger. He was an avid Boston sports fan, and followed them all, but especially liked the Bruins. He was also a big fan of Western movies starring John Wayne, as well as old classic movies, with his favorite being Casablanca.

A longtime Dover resident, Louis was also active in the community. He enjoyed attending local social events, coffee hours, and exchanging stories of the good old days. He was a member of the Dover COA, and was a big supporter of the Dover Police Department.

Louis is predecease­d by his aunt, Nerenza Spiro; and his brothers, Christy, Paul, and William Theodos. He leaves behind his three cherished daughters, Kristy and Jennifer Theodos of Dover, MA and Denise Theodos Guzzetti; and son-in-law, Josh Guzzetti of Easton, MA; a sister-in-law, and several nieces and nephews. In addition, he leaves behind his sweet kitty cat, Daisy whom he loved.

Visiting Hours will be held at the Roberts Mitchell Caruso Funeral Home, 15 Miller Street, MEDFIELD, MA 02052 on Wednesday, November 2, from 10 am-12pm followed by the Burial at the Highland Cemetery, in Dover, MA. Relatives and friends kindly invited.
