FROST, Florence L.

-

Florence Frost was born on March 30, 1928 in Boston, MA to Jennie (Marino) and Leo Natale. She passed peacefully at home on January 11, 2023 at the age of 94.

Florence lived a full life, constantly surrounded by family and friends.

Her adoring husband Jack was right by her side throughout their 60 years of marriage, until his passing in

January 2010. As a devout Catholic, Florence started her day by attending Mass. Afterwards, you could find her meticulously working on a new creation at her sewing machine, voraciously reading a book or watching Jeopardy or a Patriots game with a Miller Lite or glass of Bailey’s in hand. Florence was a skilled Black Jack player who thoroughly enjoyed her visits to Foxwoods and Twin Rivers. She also looked forward to playing cards each week at Leisurewoods with her dear sister-in-law, Jean Natale, and at the East Bridgewater Senior Center. Florence was the strongest person we knew and touched everyone she encountered in a special way.

Many are left to cherish her memory, including her children and their spouses: Deborah and Jack McDermott, with whom she lived, Ronald and Christine Frost and

Nancy and Paul Montgomery, all of

East Bridgewater, and Joanie and Joe LeMay of Sandwich; her grandchildren: Brian and Melissa McDermott, Nicole and Jeff Stern, Kevin and Jenna McDermott, Joseph Frost and Vilma Caslli, Meaghan, Caitlin and Kirstin LeMay and Colleen and Patrick

Langille and Erin Montgomery; and her great-grandchildren: Colin and

Nora McDermott, Abby and Jackson Stern, Kennedy, Cecilia and Peyton McDermott and Victoria Frost. Florence was predeceased by her two sisters and three of her brothers and survived by many beloved nieces and nephews.

The Frost family would like to thank Dr. AK Goodman and her Oncology staff, Chemotherapy Nurse Nicole, the Waltham Interventional Radiology Team, Christine from Anticoagulation Services, Dr. Stephanie Eisenstat, Old Colony Hospice Services and all of the family’s guardian angels.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family during Visiting Hours on Wednesday, January 18 from 4-8 PM at the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home in SOUTH WEYMOUTH (809 Main Street, Route 18, opposite South Shore Hospital). A Celebration of

Life Service will be held on Thursday, January 19 at 9:45 AM at the funeral home prior to the Funeral Mass at

10:30 AM at Holy Ghost in Whitman. The Burial will follow at 1:15 PM at the MA National Cemetery in Bourne. See www.Keohane.com for directions and online condolences.
