HALFOND, Gloria (Resnick)

Of Stoughton, passed away peacefully, on Thursday, January 12, 2023, at 88 years of age. Daughter of the late Sylvia (Tritter) and Philip Resnick. Loving wife of Arnold J. Halfond, for 62 years. Beloved mother of Philip Halfond and his wife, Jill of Eagan, MN and Judi Briggs and her husband, Douglas of Foxborough. Cherished grandmother of Matthew and his wife, Kimberley, Amanda, Samantha and her husband, Alex, and Danielle. Great-grandmother to Thomas, Grace, Lucia and Joseph. Sister of the late Doris Bryer.

Gloria was born in Boston on June 15, 1934. She was a graduate of Jeremiah E. Burke High School. She enjoyed entertaining, cooking and baking and playing bridge. Her family was most important to her. She spent as much time as she could with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be missed by all her friends and family.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Chapel Service on Tuesday, January 17, 2023, at 10 AM, at Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 475 Washington Street, CANTON. Burial will follow at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham Street, Sharon. Shiva will be at the home of Judi and Douglas Briggs, 4 Iris Ln., Foxborough, MA, immediately following the graveside service, and will continue through Thursday, January
