Nadine Abdat

North Andover, senior

In four years as a Scarlet Knight, Abdat ranks second in career kills (326) and third in blocks (116). The two-time All-Scholastic is one of two players in the state to be named an AVCA All-American. She'll play at Bryant.

Samantha Driend

Methuen, senior

When she isn’t coaching younger kids, Driend was finding ways to win for the Rangers (20-3). Crossing the 1,000 kills milestone and earning her second consecutiv­e Merrimack Valley MVP honor, her senior season was full of accolades.

Ella Gizmunt

Lynnfield, senior

A three-time All-Scholastic, Gizmunt’s senior season was simply brilliant, posting 419 kills, 241 digs, 120 aces, and 44 blocks. The two-time Cape Ann MVP was one of two players in Massachuse­tts to receive AVCA All-American honors.

Madelyn Homer

Oliver Ames, senior

A returning All-Scholastic, the senior libero recorded her 1,000th career dig this season and played a key role in the Tigers (15-4) winning the Hockomock Davenport. Homer was named Hockomock MVP and to the All-State team.

Lindsay Jones

Barnstable, senior

A two-time Cape & Islands All-Star, Jones captained the Red Hawks (19-3) and led them to a D1 semifinals appearance and league title. The senior led Barnstable with 474 kills and was named to her second consecutiv­e All-State team.

Marissa Kobelski

Andover, senior

Sharing Merrimack Valley Division 1 MVP honors, Kobelski was pivotal to the Golden Warriors’ success, collecting a program-high 394 kills and 232 digs en route to 17-5 record. The senior was also named to the All-State team.

Taylor Lacerda

Franklin, junior

The junior All-State outside hitter was an integral part of the Panthers’ 15-4 season, collecting 195 kills, 198 digs, and 43 aces. Lacerda was named to the honor roll twice and is a member of the Science National Honor Society.

Jennifer Lee

North Quincy, senior

The Patriot League Fisher MVP totaled 117 kills, 195 digs, 58 aces, and six blocks as the senior captain led the Raiders to a 21-2 season. Lee also possesses a 4.56 GPA and is planning to study computer science next year.

Julia Leonardo

Attleboro, sophomore

The sophomore hitter amassed 411 kills, a .247 hitting percentage, 230 digs, and 59 aces to lead the Bombardier­s to an 18-3 season and the Division 1 quarterfin­als. Leonardo also earned AVCA Phenom and Hockomock All-Star honors.

Anne-Sophie Ouellet

Lincoln-Sudbury, senior

With power (279 kills) and grit (267 digs), the outside hitter was a force in L-S’s drive to the Division 1 final and a stellar 22-3 season. On the ice, she’s a stalwart on defense for the Warriors.

Grace Presswood

Dennis-Yarmouth, senior

The Cape & Islands MVP boasted 401 kills, 331 digs, and 69 aces while leading the Dolphins (19-6) to the Division 2 final. The senior crossed milestones in career kills (1061) and digs (1203) and will play at Bridgeport.

Tia Russell

Newton South, senior

Whether it’s sculpting, singing, or playing volleyball, Russell means business and in 2022 she recorded 382 kills, 117 digs, 50 aces, 37 assists, and 20 blocks to power the Lions to a 20-4 season that ended in the D1 semifinals.

Courtney Sarfo

New Mission, senior

Outside of daily journaling, tutoring, painting, or the classroom, Sarfo gets it done on the court. The senior middle hitter tallied 315 kills and 51 blocks as a key contributo­r to the Titans’ 19-3 record and City League title.

Hannah Storm

Joseph Case, junior

The junior hitter tallied 292 kills and 218 digs to power the Cardinals (23-2) to the best record in the South Coast Conference and a Division 4 finals appearance. Storm was named the South Coast MVP. She also runs track.

Samantha Tam

Needham, junior

A returning All-Scholastic, Tam had 257 kills, 134 digs, and 42 aces and was awarded the Bay State Herget MVP. Her ability to be a deep rotation player and be effective in multiple areas helped the Rockets to a 15-6 record.

Lauren Tian

Winchester, senior

The two-time All-Scholastic tallied 288 kills for the Red & Black, pacing Winchester to a 20-3 record and ending her career with 862 career kills. The outside hitter was named to her third Middlesex AllStar and second All-State teams.

Gia Vlajkovic

Melrose, senior

The senior outside hitter sparked the Red Hawks’ offense, slamming 338 kills and collecting 70 digs to lead the team to a 19-5 season and a semifinals appearance. The Middlesex Freedom MVP plans to continue her studies at Northeaste­rn.

Gabriela Zovko

Bedford, senior

The two-time Dual County MVP was a threat in all facets of the game, totaling 304 kills, 254 digs, 182 assists, and 29 blocks to pair with a program-record 109 aces. Zovko will continue to play at Sacred Heart.
