16-year-old Arianna likes dance and circus arts
Sunday’s Child is a weekly column featuring a child currently in foster care awaiting adoption.
Arianna is a sweet and likable 16-year-old. Arianna likes to dance and especially loves ballet and participates in ballet recitals every year. She also loves to participate in circus arts. Arianna enjoys reading and has expressed interest in being an ABA therapist in the future.
Arianna is in high school and is thriving with the support of an IEP to meet her academic and social/emotional needs. She does very well with her peers and is able to build and maintain healthy relationships. Arianna flourishes from the encouragement and support of her teachers and caretakers.
Arianna would thrive in a family of any constellation, either with or without other children in the home, which is able to provide her with a stable and consistent environment. An ideal family for Arianna will be able to continue the services she has in place to address her academic and social/emotional needs.
