No dodging this

- COMPILED BY RICHARD McSWEENEY

Dodgers ace Clayton Kershaw hasn’t always been a stellar postseason performer, but he hit bottom in the Dodgers’ NL Division Series opener Oct. 7 against the Diamondbacks. He allowed six runs on six hits and left after getting just one out in an 11-2 loss. The setback dropped him to 13-13 with a 4.49 ERA in 32 postseason starts. Kershaw’s Game 1 disaster made him just one of six starting pitchers to allow six or more runs while lasting an inning or less in a postseason game, according to baseball-reference.com.
