TOBI Says, Do you need a substitute?

-

wrong. You just needed to go hide somewhere. You spilled something on your favorite shirt during breakfast. The toast got burnt. Maybe you hit the wrong number on the microwave and ruined something. The coffee pot got broken. You were writing a paper and all the words seemed hard to spell. You missed a step, because you were in a hurry, and tore your pants. Traffic was blocked by a wreck that never seemed to move. You just could not seem to understand that math problem or what the teacher was trying to say. Then you said the wrong thing because you were frustrated and everybody got mad. Each thing you said to fix it, made things worse.

You just wanted to start the day over and hope things would be better. Seems like everyone was mad at you. It was like you did not have a friend in the world.

No matter what you do, God still loves you. The Bible says He loves you with an everlasting love. So when everybody seems to be mad at you, God still loves you. Wait! There is an answer. The Bible always has an answer. In the Book of Galatians in the Bible, it says, “I am crucified with Christ, nevertheless I live, yet not I, but Christ liveth in me.” What does that mean?

Jesus was your substitute when He died for your sin on the cross. He will forgive your sin when you ask Him to do it. But it does not stop there. The verse said that He will live His life through you.

He is your substitute. That means that He becomes responsible for everything in your life. He is not just with you, but your life becomes His, and He gives you His eternal life. Yes, everybody needs that substitute. Do it today.
