The Clintons escape again

-

No other couple in American history has been able to escape as many close calls as Hillary and Bill Clinton. Back when Bill Clinton was governor of Arkansas, he was dubbed with the nickname of “Slick Willie” because nothing could stick to him. When a Republican named Mike Huckabee was elected as Lieutenant Governor, “someone” had the door to the Lieutenant Governor’s office nailed shut from the inside and it was more than a week before Mike Huckabee could get it open and occupy his own office. No one ever questioned “who” had this done.

In Arkansas, as the wife of the governor, Hillary invested $ 5000 in the Chicago Cattle Market and when she closed the account it brought her over $ 100,000. She never ordered a trade but the funds were reinvested a number of times. It appeared that someone who had “insider” information was managing it. Insider trading is illegal, but Hillary was never charged with any irregularity.

The Whitewater episode was widely publicized and had illegal loans involved with the investment. The Whitewater project bankrupted and the federal government had to bail out the savings and loan that put up the money. The investigation into Whitewater sent fifteen people from Arkansas to prison, but the Clintons, who were investors, and Hillary, who was the attorney, were never charged with any irregularity. The prosecutor investigating Whitewater issued a subpoena for Hillary’s billing records at the Rose Law Firm to show her involvement but they could not be found. Hillary did not know where they were. After the investigation closed, the records were discovered at the Clinton home.

A Clinton friend named Vince Foster was the lawyer that defended the Clinton’s during the Whitewater problem. President Clinton gave him a position in Washington after the election. He was found dead in a park in Washington under questionable circumstances. It was legally ruled a suicide. Before Foster’s office could be sealed, another Clinton lawyer went into the office and removed all of the Whitewater files and delivered them to Hillary’s secretary at the White House. The investigation into the death of Vince Foster did not require an examination of the removed records. This removal was a violation of law but no punishment came from the action.

President Bill Clinton was impeached by the House of Representatives for his sexual activities with a young girl working on a temporary basis in the White House. was destroyed in the process. The Ambassador to Libya moved to a small location in Benghazi. In September 2012, it was expected that there would be some kind of demonstration on 9/ 11 by the Muslims in Benghazi. Ambassador Christopher Stevens had no military support and he requested four times directly to Hillary Clinton to send support to them. The other nations that had moved to Benghazi all called their Ambassadors home early in September because of the expected danger. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton left our Ambassador unprotected. When the attack came in Benghazi, it was afternoon in Washington. When the message came to the Secretary of State, she apparently did not even call a meeting of the Defense Department to see what could be done. She never spoke to the President about the situation. To keep from talking to anyone about Benghazi, she left the office early and was already at home in bed by the time that the fighting was over and the Ambassador and three other Americans were dead. Although she knew that this was a deliberate terrorist military attack on our temporary Embassy, she came up with a story that it started as a demonstration because of a video that was circulating that made Muslims look bad. The video was shot in America. This certainly does not speak well for Hillary’s ability to be Commander In Chief of our military forces.

There are established procedures and policies that relate to correspondence with and inside the government. Hillary Clinton as Secretary of State ignored the rules and set up her correspondence on her personal computer in her home. It was not secure and may have been hacked so that foreign entities knew all of the things that she was doing. She lied about not using it for official business and when asked to send copies of all of her emails, she erased thousands of them and sent thirty thousand, which she said was all of the business emails. The FBI conducted an investigation and reported that she had violated a number of federal laws and the public opinion was that she should have been prosecuted but the FBI chose not to recommend this action.

Hillary has stated that the Attorney General would continue in her job if she were elected as president. This may have influenced the Attorney General’s decision not to prosecute Hillary. If Hillary was prosecuted and found guilty she could not serve as president because she would go to prison and lose her right to know state secrets.
