Week of July 17

Echota Baptist Church, located at 35 N. College Street in Calhoun, is hosting “Submerged” Vacation Bible School from July 17 – 22, 6 – 9 p. m. nightly with dinner at 6 p. m. Family night will be Friday, July 22. Bus pickup is available for ages 5 years and up by request. Classes for ages 3 years – adults. For more information, call Rev. Olivia Baptist Church, located at 1817 Guy Street in Dalton, will be holding a special singing and speaking on Sunday, July 17. At 11 a. m., Kathy Nunley will be singing and at the 6 p. m. service, Francis Lindingin will be speaking.

New Town Baptist Church will hold Submerged! VBS 2016 July 17 – 21. Meals will be served nightly at 5: 30 p. m. with worship and classes running 6: 30 – 8: 30 p. m. Classes for all ages from babies to adults. New Town Baptist Church is located at 897 New Town Road NE in Calhoun.

Snow Springs Baptist Church in Adairsville will be having Homecoming on Sunday July 17 beginning at 10: 30 a. m. with James Ward. Everyone is welcome to attend.

The Freemans from Nashville Tenn., will be in concert at the Valley Brook Church of God, located at 1474 Mineral Springs Road in Dalton, on July 17 at 10: 45 am. Everyone is welcome! For more information, call 770548- 6653.

South Calhoun Baptist Church will be having Vacation Bible School beginning this Sunday, July 17 through Thursday, July 21. VBS will run from 6: 30 – 9 p. m. each night. New Hope Baptist Church, at 8944 Red Bud Road in Ranger, is having Revival at 6 p. m. this Sunday night, July 17. Starts at 7: 30 p.m. and runs through Friday, July 22

Vacation Bible School at Plainville Church of God of Prophecy, located at 3348 Riverbend Road SW in Plainville, will be held Monday, July 18 – Friday, July 22. A free meal for the kids will be provided each night and the church will be giving out free school supplies on Friday night to all students. There will be water slides, inflatables and slushies for all students on Friday night as well.

The North Georgia General Missionary Baptist Association will hold 4th Sunday Fellowship Service on Sunday, July 24 at 6 p. m. with Flat Rock Baptist Church, 848 Cunningham Road, Rome, Rev. Scott McClure, Pastor. The guest speaker will be Rev. B. J. Sims, Pastor, Friendship Baptist Church, Cedartown.
