TOBI Says, What do you expect?

when they had John Smoltz, Tom Glavine and Greg Maddox they were expected to win every game. Today’s team is different. They do not have the stars so they are not expected to win very often. It does not mean that the fans do not want them to win.

What about people that you know? You expect the policeman to help you, and you expect the teacher to know their subject and to help you. That does not mean that they will solve every problem that you have.

You have some friends that you trust. You expect them to be there for you. And they usually try to help you. Sometimes they do disappoint you. But they are still your friends.

There are some people that you do not trust. You have seen their actions. Maybe they failed you, either by not trying, or just could not or were not able to do something.

What do you expect from yourself? Some people seem to be able to do anything. But those can be the people that seem to be down on themselves. Others think that they can do anything, even though they do not have much ability.

That is when you ask the question, what is the truth? The truth is that each person has some abilities. Each person also has some areas where they are limited.

There is only one that you can expect to do anything. God can do anything. Sometimes people do not expect much from Him. Sometimes they expect Him to solve every problem.

The truth is that He can do anything, but He does not always choose to do it. Sometimes He shows you the reason, but sometimes you have to trust Him. You can expect great things from God. You can look for- ward to what He is going to do with you, and for you. The Bible says, that He can do more than you think or imagine. Get ready for God to show you something special today.

What do others expect from you? Maybe you need to do more for others. Maybe you need to do more to follow through with what you start. A Christian should be one of those that can be trusted, and expected to do more.
