ATLANTA — Speaker of the House David Ralston ( R- Blue Ridge) has appointed the following members to the House Special Study Committee on Judicial Qualificat­ions Commission Reform:

Rep. Wendell Willard – Chairman (RSandy Springs)

Rep. Christian Coomer Cartersvil­le)

Rep. Earl Ehrhart ( R- Powder Springs)

Rep. Trey Kelley ( RCedartown)

Rep. John Meadows ( R- Calhoun)

Rep. Mary Margaret Oliver ( D- Decatur)

Rep. Jay Powell ( RCamilla)

This special study committee is created by House Resolution 1363 and will inves- ( R- tigate and study the operations of the Judicial Qualificat­ion Commission and recommend any action or legislatio­n that the committee deems prudent. The special study committee is authorized to issue subpoenas of witnesses and documents pertinent to the scope of the committee’s investigat­ion.
