Georgia Northwestern to hold 18th annual J.D. Powell Memorial Golf Tournament
for door prizes. Hole sponsorships are available for $ 200 or $ 150 when purchased with a team entry. Tent Sponsorships are also available for $ 500. Registration is limited and is on a first- come first- serve basis.
Tournament sponsors are Fox Systems, Inc.; The HON Company; Mohawk Industries, Inc.; and Shaw Industries Group, Inc.
Prizes will be awarded for first in flight, longest drive, and closest to the pin.
On the day of the tournament, registration will begin at 9: 15 a. m. followed by announcements. Tee Time begin will begin at 10: 00 a. m. followed by lunch, awards, and a ball drop after the tournament is over. Tickets are available now for the ball drop.
Proceeds raised from the tournament will be used to provide scholarships and financial assistance to GNTC students. The foundation also assists with purchasing equipment for programs, providing training for faculty and staff, and furthering marketing and public relations efforts.
