TOBI Says, What I liked about the fair

-

The fair, last week, was an exciting event. Thousands of people had fun and enjoyed a great time.

Some grandparents had a special time watching and doing fun things for the little ones. The teens especially enjoyed the thrill rides. You could see groups of young people enjoying an evening of fun together.

Eyes were happy to see the ribbons on the products from the hard work. The fireworks always bring joy to the crowds watching. The high school bands, and other musical entertainment, brought hours of pleasure to those listening.

The special shows, the food and all the other activities brought much joy to all those involved.

You live in a great country and a great world. Everybody enjoys different interests and cares about different activities that all bring joy in their own way.

The fair did not just happen. A group of people did some work for others to enjoy them- selves. It was the staff, the carnival workers, the judges, the cooks and many others serving so many could have a good time.

All of these things are like the Christian life. Christians all have different interests, but each has the same joy.

In one activity, a few serve so others can take part. Then others serve in another way for more to enjoy. It is all a team effort. There is joy in serving Jesus, just as there is joy in taking part.

God has an opportunity and place for you. You can step up and take part as you choose, or you can sit back and miss a great time. As the famous post card says, wish you were here.
