Calhoun Little Theater produces “Every Christmas Story Ever Told (And Then Some!)”

- Staff Reports

T’was just before Christmas and the Calhoun Little Theatre couldn’t rest… instead of settling in for a quiet yuletide season, the CLT is hard at work on the hilarious, rollicking holiday production called “Every Christmas Story Ever Told ( And Then Some!).”

With every intention of performing a t raditional ( but musty) version of the beloved holiday classic “Charles Dickens’ Christmas Carol” for the umpteenth time, the cast reconsiders at the last minute and launches into a tribute to every Christmas story ever told. Three actors ( Mark Waters, Jesse Evans and Susan Powell), armed with a bazillion props and costumes, send up everything from Charles Dickens to Dr. Seuss, Jimmy Stewart to the Macy’s Parade, and even Rudolf ( sort of) in a madcap romp through the holiday season.

It’s the perfect way to get ready for the holidays, beat the festive fatigue, and share some holiday cheer. This high energy, fast- paced show is sure to become a B. H. C. ( that’s Beloved Holiday Classic) for you and your family.
