Local Starr-Mathews agent designated Special Blue Streak representative

Bradley Rains of Starr-Mathews in Calhoun has recently been appointed a special Blue Streak representative for the Central Insurance Companies. Blue Streak is a unique personal lines service, recognition and relationship program provided to insurance agencies representing Central which maintain consistently high professional standards and a proven track record for producing highquality personal automobile, homeowners, personal umbrella, dwelling, boat owners and scheduled personal property insurance policies for Central.

The purpose of the program is simple: to provide prompt, accurate personal lines service - the best in the industry - to policyholders through a mutual commitment between Central and its Blue Streak agencies. Because of this close partnership, Blue Streak agencies are given priority attention on all business submitted to Central.

According to Michael Guth, Senior Vice President of Personal Lines for the Central Companies, “The Blue Streak program, since its inception in 1979, is comprised of some of the best independent insurance agencies in the nation.” Starr-Mathews is one of just 76 insurance agencies nationwide that has achieved Blue Streak status.

Mr. Rains recently completed a three-day training program at the home office of the Central Insurance Companies in Van Wert, Ohio, where he was designated the Blue Streak agency underwriter and coordinator of the program.
