Calhoun Little Theater produces Every Christmas Story Ever Told (And Then Some!) this weekend

- Staff Reports

T’was just before Christmas and the Calhoun Little Theatre couldn’t rest… Instead of settling in for a quiet yuletide season, the CLT is hard at work on the hilarious, rollicking holiday production called Every Christmas Story Ever Told (And Then Some!). With every intention of performing a traditional ( but musty) version of the beloved holiday classic, Charles Dickens’ Christmas Carol for the umpteenth time, the cast reconsiders at the last minute and launches into a tribute to every Christmas story ever told! Three actors (Mark Waters, Jesse Evans and Susan Powell), armed with a bazillion props and costumes, send up everything from Charles Dickens to Dr. Seuss, Jimmy Stewart to the Macy’s Parade, and even Rudolf ( sort of) in a madcap romp through the holiday season!

It’s the perfect way to get ready for the holidays, beat the festive fatigue, and share some holiday cheer! This high energy, fast- paced show is sure to become a B.H.C. ( that’s Beloved Holiday Classic) for you and your family.

Performances: Dec. 9 and 10 at 7 p. m. at the Harris Arts Center. For tickets or more information call 706 625 2559 or purchase online at www. harrisartscenter. com/ events/.
