Marsh House brings history to life in Christmas Candleligh­t Tour. The Marsh House of LaFayette invites you to travel back to the 19th Century at the annual Christmas Candleligh­t Tour event. Set for the first three Saturdays and Sundays of December (Dec. 3, 4, 10, 11, 17, 18), 6 to 8 p.m. each evening, the 1836 antebellum home will be decorated for the holidays. Guests who attend will experience character reenactmen­ts, eat delicious refreshmen­ts, decorate ornaments they can take home, learn about the history of the Marsh House, and enjoy the historical holiday atmosphere. The cost is $5 for general admission and $1 for children 12 and under. Visit marshhouse­oflafayett­e.com for more informatio­n. On Fridays, Dec. 2, 9, and 16 there will be preview nights in which you can view the house interior and learn more about the tours. The preview nights require no admission, however, the Marsh House asks for donations to support the Candleligh­t Tours.

Coosa Valley Regional Services is holding their monthly board meeting on Friday, Dec. 16 at 11 a.m. Meeting will take place at the main office, located at 3 Riverside Industrial Pkwy NE in Rome, Ga. All public is cordially invited to attend.
