GORDON COUNTY PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT ADULT BASKETBALL LEAGUE

— The Gordon County Parks and Recreation Department will be having a Adult Basketball League. The first meeting will be on December 21, at 6: 30 p. m. if you are interested in entering a team, you must be at the meeting or call 706- 602- 4435 for more information. — The inaugural Smoker Culberson Classic Golf Tournament will be held on Jan. 7 at Fields Ferry Golf Club with proceeds going to benefit the Calhoun High School baseball program. The event will be hosted by former Calhoun High standouts and current MLB players Josh Smoker and Charlie Culberson. Registration is open to individuals for $100 or register as a foursome for $320. There will be a shotgun start at 11 a.m. There will also be a raffle, silent auction, ability to buy mulligans and play from the a long drive pro’s shot and a reception following the round.
