various religious services, Jesus is largely omitted from the acts of celebration. That is true while at the same time we hear more and more attacks against the Christian religion from atheists, humanists, some areas of government and nonbelievers. We hear those attacks with little response or defense. It is here I need to recommend that all believers in God and His Son Jesus to become more equipped in the field of Christian Apologetics. The word apologetics is not used here in the sense of apologizing for some wrong done or words spoken. It is the word that refers to the branch of theology having to do with the defense and proofs of Christianity.

It was an advertisement seen on TV a few days ago declaring that we all go shopping and look for “the perfect gift.” That ad is the motivation for the column today. We will begin by discussing:
