(2) Today, Coach Vince Layson’s CHS boys’ basketball team is scheduled to meet host Jenkins of Savannah in the third round of the Class AAA state tournament. This writer has not sufficiently expressed his admiration and appreciation for the performances of Coach Layson, his staff, and his players over the past few years.
