Ladies luncheon, special tea party to be held at Harris Arts Center

Follow the Yellow Brick Road to a Wizard of OZ Tea Party, Saturday, March 25, 11 a. m. to 1 p. m., at the Harris Arts Center, sponsored by All God’s Children Pediatrics.

Dorothy and the Tin Man invite children and their favorite grownup to the wonderful land of OZ for a special luncheon in their honor. Dress as an OZ character, a princess or come as you are.

Guests will be seated at tables with centerpiec­es featuring Emerald City, the Tin Man, Wicked Witch of the West, Scarecrow and Cowardly Lion, to name a few. Kaytlyn Reese Bohannon will sing favorite songs from the movie. Guests may play games, make crafts and visit the face painting station. A fanciful photo- op scene will be available to capture lasting memories.

Tickets are only $ 20 per person and may be purchased online or by calling 706 629- 2599 with credit card informatio­n.

Past attendees have enjoyed the “tea party experience” so much that the fundraiser has become a much beloved and anticipate­d event. “Our adult patrons have been left out for too long! Ladies, this year we are having a party especially for you!” said HAC Director, Toni Molleson.

A Wizard of OZ Ladies’ Luncheon is scheduled for Friday, March 24 at noon. The adults will enjoy lunch by David Burton of Wall Street Catering. They, too, will be seated in the Ratner Theater at tables that have been magically transforme­d into the land of OZ. Musical entertainm­ent will accompany their dining experience.

The Spring Fling Basket silent auction will be displayed in the galleries and is a fun and interestin­g exhibit to visit after lunch.
