Many thought Franz Joseph Haydn was a songwriter during that 1930 decade. This is one none should be felt lacking for not knowing facts about Haydn. In researchin­g that name, I found that Haydn was indeed an Austrian composer born far back in 1732 and died in 1809. How did a student come up with the man living in the decade of 1930?

One of the more humorous concepts was that Sid Caesar was an early Roman Emperor. Many declared Mark Twain as the inventor of the cotton gin. Some thought Heinrich Himmler invented the Heimlich maneuver. As a word of explanatio­n, I am sure all of us Georgians know Eli Whitney invented the cotton gin and that Heinrich Himmler was one of Hitler’s chief staff members of World War II. My watching the American History Channel and all the shows covering the terrible Hitler has allowed a great familiarit­y with the war criminals of that war of my youth.

Also, did you know that Jefferson Davis (President of the Confederac­y during the Civil War) was a guitar player for the music group Jefferson Airplane?
