Mohawk Presents The Star Spangled Celebration, the annual celebration of Independence Day, will be held on Tuesday, July 4 at the Northwest Georgia Regional Fairgrounds on Highway 53/Rome Road in Calhoun. Gates open at 5 p.m. with concerts and activities beginning at 6 p.m.

What is being hailed as the “Biggest and Best Fireworks Show Ever” will begin at after sunset, around 10 p.m. Mohawk and other local sponsors bring the annual event to the community.

This year, Top Five finalist Zach Seabaugh of NBC’s “The Voice” will perform.

Seabaugh is a country singer-songwriter based in Atlanta. In 2015, he auditioned for “The Voice,” and went on to become a member of Team Blake. He finished fifth overall, setting his career in motion.

Following his time on “The Voice,” Seabaugh released a self-titled, five song EP in the summer of 2016, which entered the iTunes Country Album Chart at No. 3, and Billboard’s Country Music Charts at No. 25.

Earlier this year, Zach starred alongside acclaimed singer-songwriter Radney Foster in the musical “Troubadour” at the Alliance Theatre in Atlanta, which featured original music by Kristian Bush of Sugarland. He also made his debut on the Grand Ole Opry stage in January.

Other concerts during the Star Spangled Celebration will feature Nashville artist Shelby Lee Rowe, Country River Band and Midnight Cry.

There will be inflatables for the kids, food, games and various vendors throughout the evening.
