The Lady War­riors trailed by two go­ing to the third in­ning, but Rock­mart scored seven runs over the next four frames to pull away for a re­gion win at home.

Gor­don Cen­tral (1-8, 1-4) was led of­fen­sively by Destiny Parker who was 2-for-3 with a homer and two RBIs. Mor­gan Frank added two hits, and Da­lyn Muse had a dou­ble and an RBI.

Gor­don Cen­tral hosted Model on Thurs­day in an­other Re­gion 7-AA con­test. (For de­tails on that game, see Wed­nes­day’s Cal­houn Times.) The Lady War­riors host Cal­houn in a non-re­gion game on Wed­nes­day at 5 p.m.

The Lady War­riors were shut out on Mon­day as they dropped a non-re­gion con­test.

Gor­don Cen­tral (1-7) was held to just three hits as they came from Mon­tana Slaugh­ter, Macken­zie Hall and Destiny Parker. Parker’s hit was a dou­ble.

Mor­gan Frank pitched the com­plete game for the Lady War­riors, giv­ing up six runs (three earned) on eight hits while strik­ing out seven.
