New Echota UMC recognizes retired teachers
Governor Nathan Deal proclaimed Nov. 5, 2017 as Georgia Retired Educators Day. Calhoun Mayor Jimmy Palmer and Gordon County Commissioner Kevin Cunningham continued the proclamation for Calhoun and Gordon County. Pastor Keith Willard of New Echota United Methodist Church recognized the retired teachers at his church on Sunday, Nov. 5.
