The coaches, players, administra­tion, parents and fans should capture these moments of greatness and cherish them with gratefulne­ss for all their years.

Apologetic­s (not to be confused with our simple everyday word “apology”)

The title of this section is accurate even though the two words are closely related. Casual interactio­ns and relationsh­ip with others in our life often demand of each of us the expression, “I am sorry.”

In those cases it is expressing regret for an action or word which is offensive or perceived to be offensive. Read closely as I say “This in not Apologetic­s about which I will shortly address.”

If the axiom is true (and I believe it is) “a position well defined is half argued” then it behooves me to define my terms.
