The Basement will hold Nights of Worship weekly each Saturday, with fellowship at 5: 30 p. m. and worship at 6: 30 p. m. The Basement is located at 903 D South Wall Street in Calhoun, beside Family Dollar Store.

Oostanaula Baptist Outreach Ministry will be open on the third Saturday of each month, taking donations for food and clothing.

Farmville United Methodist Women will host their 14th Annual Women’s Retreat on Saturday, Feb. 3, 2018, from 10 a. m. – 2 p. m. Guest speaker will be Zoe M. Hicks, from Atlanta. Leader of Women’s Retreats, Zoe’s goal is to help people achieve their dreams and live abundantly. In 2006, she and husband Charles established a Foundation – Encouragement Unlimited, Inc. Special music will be provided by Ms. Joy Shirey of Rome. Lunch will be served. This is a free event ( Love Offering will be taken). Please plan to join us for a day of Christian fellowship. Everyone is welcome to Tails Creek Community Building, located at 75 Cross Road in Ellijay, on Saturday, Feb. 10 from 2 - 8 p. m. We will have a movie, “Heavens Gates and Hells Flames,” and Evangelist Evelyn M. Adams will give her testimony of going to hell and back. There will also be gospel singing. Dinner will be served for everyone to enjoy. We will also be giving away free clothes and household items as they come in. For directions or more information call 706671- 7988. Philadelphia Baptist Church, located at 358 Hensley Road SE in Calhoun,

is holding a Deaf Revival on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 9- 10, 2018. The event is free. Special guest is Allen Snare, a deaf preacher. Voice interpreter will be provided for the hearing. At 5 p. m. on Friday, Feb. 9, a spaghetti dinner will be served, along with games, fellowship and a time to listen to Allen teach from the Bible. On Saturday, Feb. 10, a chicken dinner will be served at 5 p. m., also with games, fellowship and another Bible lesson from Allen. RSVP is required. For more information, call Kate at 330- 4067549.
